  • Ma'Sheka Thomas

    Ma’Sheka completed her 500-Hr teacher training from Spiritual Essence Yoga. Ma’Sheka loves to read, write, hike, be with nature, and practice yoga. She believes yoga is a way of life as it has helped her with anxiety and managing stress. Her desire is to provide yoga services to disadvantaged communities to help them cope with different stressors and develop healthy practices. She is an experienced Life Coach, Sound Healer, and Reiki Practitioner.

  • Sherry Steine

    Sherry completed her 200-hour Teacher Training with My Vinyasa Practice based in Austin, Texas. Since becoming an RYT-200 hour Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher, She has studied Chinese Medicine and Yoga, Yin Asana and Biomechanics, Trauma-Informed/Sensitive Yoga, Yoga for Seniors, and Restorative Yoga. She is currently studying for her YTT 300 Advanced Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda teacher training at Beloved Yoga Sanctuary in Reston, Virginia. She believes that everyone comes to the yoga mat with everything they need to experience yoga fully and to progress on their own journey while meeting her students where they are and simply allowing.

  • Ayanna Wells

    Ayanna, a native New Yorker, and lifelong athlete, first found yoga in college. Her beginner-level yoga course sparked an interest in learning more about the practice and the philosophy of yoga. She obtained her 200 level RYT certification in 2018 through ExtendYoga located in Rockville, Maryland. Ayanna has since taught yoga and its philosophy to a variety of bodies, abilities, and belief systems from mixed martial artists, older adults, children, and now to college students at American University in Washington, DC. Overall, Ayanna is passionate about educating populations on how to live a healthy lifestyle, ultimately impacting future generations. She holds a Master’s of Science in Health Promotion Management from American University and a Bachelors of Science in Health Sciences with a focus in Community Health from George Mason University. Ayanna is also a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC).
